How long will it take to get a new website?

On average, we shoot for a two to eight weeks turnaround, but the pace of any project is set by each client. How much input you can provide during the initial stages, your availability with feedback, how soon the content is ready – all this affects the speed of completion.

The functionality needs may also play a role – more complex sites will take more time to develop.

What Slows Down or Delays the Process of Delivering a Website Design or Web Development Project?

There are two main factors that we have found to delay website design projects.

Lack of Content: If content hasn’t been written for the website and the launch of the website is pending due to content not being added by our clients, then this will slow the launch or delay it indefinitely.

It’s a good idea to think about the structure of the website, website content architecture and content on the website before or as soon as you engage with us. Then our team can help you fill in the gaps.

Approval Process & Time: When working with large organizations or extremely busy business owners, we have found that approvals by committee take the longest. It’s important to delegate the authority for approvals and feedback to a small select group leading the website project. Usually no bigger than 3 people with experience or a background in digital technology or the web.

Small business owners that are time poor should set aside weekly appointments to keep things on track to deliver approvals in a timely manner.

The faster we can get those approvals, the faster we can move forward and deliver your project.

Who Writes or Provides the Content for My New Website Design?

As you are the expert in your field of business, we rely on you, the client, to provide the content that we need on the website. Whatever field you are in, from health to robotics and engineering, our depth of knowledge around the topic would be minuscule compared to yours.

We as designers and developers can help you organize the content and structure it in a way to work on the web, but we’ll need your expertise to provide the content that your customers need to know to engage with your business.

However, if you are not good at writing or hate the idea of it, we can provide extra resources from our partners to help with content creation for your website at an extra cost.

How much does a new website design cost?

There’s not one single answer to this question because a website design is quoted based on the needs of each individual project, so we’ll ask a lot of questions, assess your needs, and give you a quote based on that assessment. However, you can check our price plans to have a close estimate of how much your project might cost.

When and How do I pay?

For most projects, 70% of the total cost are made at the start,  and 30% upon completion. But, we can work with you to set up a schedule that meets your needs.

We understand that this is a big investment and want to help you budget for the expense in whatever way possible.

Payments can be made online on our Website or via Bank Transfer.

How do I maintain my website update when you're done?

You have multiple options when it comes to managing and looking after your website.

We like to empower our clients to be able to do all of the updates and management themselves.

If you do require help and ongoing maintenance, we do provide managed services at a monthly rate with set monthly hours for updates, security and to help you with new content and updates when you need it.

Can I see your past projects?

Sure, you can. Kindly follow this link to see our past projects.

Why do I need a design agency?

Your branding and marketing materials are often the first point of contact with potential customers. You don’t get a second chance to make a first impression, and therefore your communication materials need to convey the right image. A design agency will produce marketing materials that will help to impress upon potential customers the professionalism of your company and the service you offer. By producing your own marketing materials, you run the risk of appearing amateurish which could lead to the loss of potential customers.

What design service(s) do you offer?

We offer branding services, promotional and marketing designs such as e-flyer designs, book covers, brochure and the likes and digital designs such as UI/UX design.

Do you print?

No, we do not. However, we have associates who do and we will be glad to look for a printer for your project and work with them till we get the ideal end result.

How does the design process work, from my initial enquiry, to completion of the job?

The first step of our process is to have a design consultation call or chat to ensure our partnership is a good fit. We want to make sure that your vision is something we can create for you. If it’s not in our wheelhouse, we will let you know right away.

With that settled, we start all projects by thoroughly discussing the details of the project with you. From this discussion, we establish the specific requirements which we call The Brief.

For brand identity and logo projects, we send a brief questionnaire for the design brief as these will help us understand your design requirements  and key into your vision. We believe that client input is a crucial factor to making the project a success.

Once we have established the brief and designs are started (and concepts presented- for logo designs), we include up to 2 rounds of revisions per project – and offer additional revisions at an hourly rate. You will always know what round of edits we are on, and we will never start on additional revisions without your approval. However, we’re willing to be flexible and make you as satisfied as possible. If we need to throw in an extra round of revisions to make that project absolutely perfect, we’re happy to do so as we see fit, per case.

How long does it take for a design to be completed?

Project duration for all types of designs are specifically mentioned in our packages. A typical project can take as little as 24 to 48 hours or more depending on the type of project or design requirements.

How much do you charge for design?

Although, there are flat rates for some of our design services, but prices depend on many variants, e.g type of design and complexity of projects, but you can be sure you are getting a great value for your design project. Kindly follow this link to request a quote for your custom designs.

Why should we choose Donminio Digitals?

Quality. We all know the phrase “you get what you pay for”, and that extends to your branding as well. Most people can spot a ‘low-budget’ logo/ design when we see it. If you’re reading this, then we both know that you expect more from your branding and other design needs. You are the type of person that invests in quality and strategy instead of spending time and money ‘throwing things at a wall to see what sticks’.

We design with purpose. Everything we do ties back to your vision and strategy. We research your competition, we understand your clients and industry. We treat your business as if it were our own. We want our business to succeed, and we want that for you, too. We know, pretty much everyone is related to a graphic designer. There are almost as many “great graphic designers” as “POS shops”. What sets us apart are our empathy, understanding, quality and strategic thinking. Not to mention, we’ve been doing this for a quite some time – so we’ve had a lot of practice!

We know that this is an investment, and we want to make this investment work for you.

I need a design done and delivered tomorrow. Is that possible?

No. We appreciate giving us enough notice for every design need. In as much as we do not intend taking too much time on a project, we do love to commit some time to every work so as to be able to deliver quality and effective designs.
